DJ Q – Throwback Mix (60 Tracks) [Free Download]

DJ Q is back with another Bassline mix which can be downloaded for free from his SoundCloud. Q goes old school with this one, mixing 60 tracks into an 80 minutes, with classic productions from himself, Booda, FB, Zibba, Mask, T2, Mr V, Nastee Boi, Brett Maverick and many more finding their way onto this set. Spooky – Baby
Spooky is usually associated with producing heavyweight grime beats, so anybody that follows him on SoundCloud will have been pleasantly surprised when he uploaded a Bassline dub called ‘Baby’. Admittedly this was uploaded in the summer of 2012, but I’m bringing it to your attention now as on the 20th February, it was announced as a forthcoming release on ‘Unknown to the Unknown’ (UTTU), the label which is responsible for signing EPs from the likes of DJ Q/Classified and Mista Men. Here’s the SC clip below, I will make sure to update you when an actual release date is announced.

The official video for ABSORB’s single “I’m Done” featuring Lady Chann has landed

Directed by Lost Boyz Entertainment co-founders Chas Appeti and Simon Dewey (previous videos include Giggs, Tinchy Stryder, Sway etc), the pair are continuing to build their impressive catalogue of videos, capturing the vibe of “I’m Done” perfectly.

Having been chosen as 1Xtra’s BBC Introducing Track Of The Week towards the end of 2012, the Stinkahbell and Psy:am-produced “I’m Done” has been supported by MistaJam, BBC 6 Music’s Tom Robinson and Rinse FM DJs Plastician, Sian Anderson and DJ Allbury.

Blogs been going through a quiet patch, partly due too my busy work/college schedule & partly due to not much music being made. Iv been resisting posting for the sake of it as i’ve always tried to post quality not quantity. So obviously when this wicked official remix popped up from DJ Q it gave me the perfect reason to post! Out on March 12 as part of a remix package on label OWSLA!
