It’s 1 year since “Garage” held its first event at the Jailhouse in Hereford and to celebrate one whole year of bringing Grime, Bassline & UKG to Hereford they’re throwing a party with a few familiar faces you may recognise.

First up they’ve invited back BBC Radio 1Xtra’s UKG don DJ Q (who helped kick things off for us at our opening night last March) for the headline set. Since his last visit to Hereford, Q has remixed tracks for the likes of Toddla T, Rusko & Katy B and has already made his mark on 2012, releasing the ‘All Junglist’ EP on UTTU Records (which was championed by Radio 1′s Rob Da Bank of all people) and his ‘Brandy & Coke’ bootleg which is getting a limited vinyl only release on Local Action Records. As well as being an ace producer, Q’s DJ sets are also something rather special, well known for featuring tracks from the entire spectrum of the UKG & UK Bass sound.

Hosting Q’s set will be the Bum Brownin lovin’ man from Brum, Slick Don, who’s had a big start to 2012 with the release of his debut album ‘Everybody hates Slickz’ which is available to buy right now on iTunes.

Their second MC booking is Sheffield’s rising Grime star K Dot. K Dot, well known for his Bassline anthem ‘Get Milli Get Mad’, has been doing alot in the Sheffield Grime scene lately, his Youtube features with fellow Sheffield MC and Lord Of The Mics royalty Tez Kidd (and the Scum Fam gang) bringing alot of attention to the goings on in South Yorkshire (He also featured in Toddla T’s DVD ‘Always Moving’!). We also have an exclusive set from Notion to celebrate the launch of his ‘Digits EP’ on Formula Records. Support, as always, comes from all the (GARAGE) residents.
